The Muffler Logo and Branding - 15 December 2019

Spizzle Dizzle were recently commissioned to design and develop a logo for The Muffler by it's new owners, that will become the main branding for the club.
Harking back to the meaning of the name itself 'The Muffler', which became the affectionate name of the Maesglas Sports & Social Club in Newport many years ago.
It's patrons were mainly working men from the local area that worked the docks and other heavy industry and frequently wrapped up in heavy coats and scarves (mufflers) to work in harsh and cold weather... and so our design utilises the scarf/muffler as framing for the name.
